About us Wasatch Functional Medicine is located in South Ogden, UT 84403. We are passionate about the functional medicine approach to help our patients feel good again. Our clinic supports these 5 pillars of health: Nutrition, Stress Management, Exercise, Sleep, and Relationships. We have a team of nurse practitioners, medical assitants, a master esthetician, massage therapy and various health coaches of different specialties and backgrounds to support our patients. We are seeking a medical assistant comfortable with administative and clinical duties, phlebotomy and IVs to join our team! You must love working with people, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, influencing change in health care, teaching, must be compassionate, a good listener and an effective communicator. Qualifications High school or equivalent EHR systems: 1 year Vital signs: 1 year BLS Certification Certified Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification IV Therapy Certification (Preferred) Strong organizational skills Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Handle administrative duties in a timely manner Perform routine clinical tasks Answer phone calls, schedule appointments and follow up on medical orders Obtain blood samples and prepare them for processing Escort patients to exam rooms: obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation, and data collection Clean exam rooms Communication of health care plans with patients and medical teams IV administration
