This full-time Medical Assistant job offers Monday through Friday daytime hours only, with no nights, no weekends, and no on-call. You'll work directly with our providers on allergy testing, immunotherapy injections, and asthma care, making this a great fit for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or experienced MA looking for specialty clinic experience. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Room patients and complete intake: vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint documentation Assist providers with allergy skin testing (scratch and intradermal), patch testing, and spirometry (pulmonary function testing) Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) per physician protocols; monitor patients for reactions post-injection Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, including blood draws and nasal smears Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) Prepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms; ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and ready for use Educate patients and families on allergy and asthma management plans and medication instructions Coordinate with front office staff on scheduling, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic infection control standards Support additional clinical and administrative tasks as needed Medical Assistant Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant required; allergy, asthma, or specialty clinic experience strongly preferred Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred Proficient in phlebotomy and injection administration Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced medical office Current BLS/CPR certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire) Schedule & Benefits Full-time, Monday-Friday, daytime hours - no evenings, no weekends Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Supportive, team-oriented workplace in
