Help Kids Reach Their Goals At Goal Pediatric Orthotics, we help children get the gear they need to move, participate, and reach their goals. We're looking for a warm, organized, proactive Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys building relationships with families, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. You don't need to already know pediatric orthotics—we'll train you. This isn't a typical Medical Assistant position. You'll spend much of your time interacting directly with children and parents, assisting during appointments, preparing orthotic gear, and making each visit a positive experience. Administrative work supports the clinical experience rather than being the entire job. What You'll Do Welcome children and parents, gather necessary information Assist the clinician with measurements, scans, casting, and orthotic fittings Obtain parent signatures and schedule follow-up appointments Clean and organize treatment areas Maintain organized paperwork and keep it moving through the workflow Email updates following appointments to referring providers Maintain inventory stock and track shipments The Person We're Looking For Naturally organized, detail-oriented, and punctual Warm, personable, and a good communicator Friendly and comfortable with babies and children with disabilities or special needs Positive team player who learns quickly, takes initiative, and receptive to constructive feedback

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and get up and down from the floor while working with children Ability to lift and carry boxes and bins, including up and down stairs Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

Medical Assistant experience or certification Experience working with children Familiarity with medical or anatomical terminology Patient care or customer service experience Experience communicating professionally with medical providers Familiarity with Google Workspace, Adobe, and Dropbox Previous healthcare experience is not required. We provide hands-on training in pediatric orthotics, clinical workflow, scanning, terminology, anatomy, and the other skills needed for the position. Schedule Primarily Tuesday-Wednesday, approximately 9:00 AM-5:00 PM No required evenings or weekends; Fridays and holidays off Flexible scheduling around family and school needs Occasional travel between Logan and Cottonwood Heights How to Apply Submit your résumé through Indeed (email) and answer the screening questions included with the application. Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 25.0 per week
