Medical Assistant

  • Pediatrics Granger Medical Clinic is looking for a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our float pool.
In this role, you will be at our West Valley City clinic in Pediatrics and provide essential support to various clinics and providers, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care while helping our clinic run smoothly and efficiently.
Schedule:
Mon
  • Fri, 8 am
  • 5 pm
Responsibilities:
Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardians Managing insurance authorizations and prior approvals Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.) Administering immunizations Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection Preparing and maintaining exam rooms Accurately documenting patient information Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Professional verbal and written communication skills Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED Medical Assistant Certification required 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred Must be bilingual in
Spanish Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Prolonged standing and walking Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent use of computers and office equipment (repetitive motion) Work performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment
