Must have at least 2 years experience as a Certified Medical Assistant - ideally in a physician office; fluent with Medical Assistant duties and responsibilities; great customer service skills; enjoys being part of a Team. Must have at least 2 years experience as a Medical Receptionist/Secretary (check in/check out), fluent in insurance prior-authorization, preferably in a specialty practice. Must have prior EMR experience, ideally Athena EMR . Must possess thorough knowledge of insurance benefits, referrals, authorizations, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare Replacement Plans, etc. Must be proficient in computer skills and be tech savvy. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must enjoy fast paced environment. Must be a Team player with strong work ethic. Hours are M-F 8:00-5:00 p.m.. Excellent benefits.
