Job Description

Full time Position We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Neurology practice. The ideal candidate will support our physicians in delivering high-quality patient care, assist with clinical and administrative tasks, and ensure a smooth and efficient flow of daily operations. Experience in a neurology or specialty care setting is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and document medical history. Assist neurologist with procedures such as EEGs, EMGs, and other neurological testing (training provided if needed). Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Perform basic neurological assessments and support diagnostic evaluations. Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits. Answer phones, triage messages, and relay communication between patient and provider. Assist with prescription refills and patient education materials.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) program preferred. LPN also encouraged to apply 1+ year of experience in a medical office; neurology or specialty care is a plus. Proficient with EMR systems (especially Athena Health or Allscripts) and basic computer applications. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
