Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Schedule:
33.5 hours per week
Pay:
$16.00-$18.00/hour, based on experience Medical Temporaries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a solo, patient-focused family medicine practice in Chesapeake, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, self-motivated professional who enjoys providing exceptional patient care and working in a collaborative medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Medical Assistant experience and strong clinical and administrative skills. The practice values professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
8:30 AM-5:00
PM Friday:
8:30 AM-12:00 PM No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities Key Responsibilities Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs Perform telephone and in-office patient triage Administer injections as directed Perform EKGs Conduct CLIA-waived laboratory testing Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms Complete pre-visit planning and quality metric reviews Communicate test results to patients as directed by the provider Support both clinical and administrative office workflows Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR/EHR Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture, preferred
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office setting
COVID-19
vaccination or approved medical waiver Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
Preferred:
