Job Description
Full Time Certified Medical Assistant/Xray Technician available Monday - Friday for busy Primary Care Practice. The position requires, compassion and patience, current experience with medical office procedures, electronic medical records, injections, phlebotomy skills, familiarity with health insurance and medication prior authorizations. Duties include but not limited to prepare patient for examinations, taking medical histories and vital signs, assisting the provider for examinations, collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, sterilize medical instruments, administering ekg, pulse ox and other in office procedures, maintain vaccines, stocking supplies in exam rooms, clean/sterilize exam rooms, helping front office prn, etc. Must be energetic, dependable, able to multitask and communicate effectively.
