Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated medical assistant to support both our medical providers and patients. This multifaceted role requires a blend of clinical accuracy, stellar administrative coordination, and high-touch customer service.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Prep patients, record medical histories, note chief complaints, and measure vital signs accurately within the EMR.
Procedures & Testing:
Prepare patients for examinations and perform extended screening tests.
Medication Support:
Prepare and administer medications with direct physician authorization.
Patient Guidance:
Educate patients on medications, condition management, home treatments, and personalized lifestyle adjustments.
Care Coordination:
Seamlessly facilitate specialty referrals and hospital admissions.
Operations & Inventory:
Clean and stock exam rooms while managing medical supply inventory.
Front Office Support:
Assist at the reception desk, manage schedules, and make appointment reminder calls.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical office experience required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and medical inventory management.
Soft Skills:
Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong team-player mindset.
Service:
Exceptional customer service skills suited for a concierge medicine environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Biology, or Psychology preferred.
