What You'll Do Prepare patients for visits by recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR. Assist physicians during examinations and in-office procedures. Educate patients on treatments, medications, and post-visit care instructions. Schedule appointments, verify insurance, coordinate referrals, and support front-office operations. Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and follow infection control protocols. Help create a welcoming, professional, and patient-centered experience from check-in to check-out. Work Location:

In person Experience Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required. Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred; experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, or internal medicine is advantageous. Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and specimen handling. Knowledge of ICD coding standards for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with anatomy and physiology enhances patient care delivery. Experience working in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or trauma hospitals is a plus; inpatient or PICU experience is beneficial. Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical scenarios including geriatrics or medical-surgical settings Spanish Speaker Preferred.
