Job Description

We are looking for Flexible energetic person, with a good attitude, who loves their job and is willing to jump in and get to know patients and be a part of a private internal medicine practice. Looking for support staff member who has worked in office/clinical setting or someone who can be quickly trained. Must be flexible with days, hours, location
  • 16-32 hours per week per schedule.
Brief Description of Responsibility:
  • Making appointment, patient communication, follow up on patients with phone/email.
  • Appointment confirmation/insurance verification/eligibility, pre-authorizations, patient recalls.
  • Check-in patients and intake, collect vitals.
  • Basic organization skills, basic computer savvy, keyboarding, comfortable with scanner/fax/copier
  • Basic Microsoft Word Knowledge.
  • Maintain office forms and maintain inventory of lab/office supplies.
  • Keeping lab, exam rooms, office in working order.
1 week orientation provided
Medical Assistant Duties:
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • HIPAA Compliant
  • Take patient vital signs
  • EKG•Can train•Basic Swabs/Lab Specimen Preparation•Urinalysis, Urine Dipstick, Swabs, Rapid Strep Test, Pregnancy Test.
  • Perform medical intakes
