Job Description

Medical Assistant Vienna, VA Pay From:
$28.00 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant 2 plus years of medical assistant experience in private practice
DUTIES:
Prepare treatment rooms and assist physicians during medical and cosmetic procedures by filling syringes, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols. Answer incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, and respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries. Interview patients, obtain and document medical histories, record clinical notes, and assist physicians during consultations while providing patient education regarding treatment options. Educate and counsel patients on pre-operative and post-operative instructions to ensure proper preparation, recovery, and compliance with physician recommendations. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure positive patient experience. Ensure examination and procedure rooms are properly stocked, organized, and equipped for daily clinical operations. Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
