Overview We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for our fast paced allergy office. We are a company that cares for our patients. And enjoy working together as a team. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in inpatient. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as medication administration, injections, allergy testing, performing spirometry test and other testings. Operate and maintain Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information securely Assist with ICD coding and documentation for billing and insurance purposes Refill medications, Prior Auth's, Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort during visits
- Experience Prior experience in private practice or allergy and asthma clinic is helpful.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is mandatory; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or inpatient units
