Join Our Growing Gastroenterology Practice We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Lead Medical Assistant to become a key member of our team. This is more than a traditional Medical Assistant role—we are looking for someone who is a natural leader, enjoys solving problems, and is willing to step in wherever needed to help our practice succeed. Our ideal candidate leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Lead and support the Medical Assistant team while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture. Assist physicians with patient care, procedures, and clinical workflow. Train, mentor, and onboard new staff. Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked, organized, and operating efficiently. Monitor clinical workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and daily operations. Cross-train and provide coverage at the front desk when needed, including:
  • Patient check-in and check-out
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Insurance verification
  • Collecting copays Work collaboratively with both the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless office operations.
Help maintain high standards for patient satisfaction, professionalism, and quality of care. Take initiative to identify problems and help implement solutions that improve the practice.
