Our mission is to provide accessible, compassionate, high-quality primary care to patients of all ages. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients and helping establish efficient clinical workflows in a growing practice. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will support physicians and advanced practice providers with clinical and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and willing to take on varied responsibilities in a new clinic environment. Responsibilities Greet and room patients while providing a welcoming experience Obtain and document vital signs, medication lists, allergies, and medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as authorized Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and CLIA-waived testing Assist providers with minor procedures and patient education Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Coordinate referrals, imaging, laboratory testing, and follow-up care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record Clean and stock examination rooms and monitor medical supplies Follow infection-prevention, safety, HIPAA, and clinic policies Assist with telephone calls, scheduling, records, and front-office duties when needed Participate in quality-improvement and Rural Health Clinic compliance activities Qualifications Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of medical-assisting experience preferred Current Basic Life Support certification Experience with phlebotomy, injections, immunizations, and EKGs Familiarity with electronic health records Primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or rural-health experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills Ability to work collaboratively while handling responsibilities independently Schedule Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday. Exact hours will be established based on clinic operations and patient needs. No routine evening or weekend shifts are anticipated. Why Join Us?
