Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for a newly created float position. This full-time position will primarily support our Oconomowoc Clinic working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (8am-4pm), Tuesdays and Thursdays (10-6pm). Flexibility may be needed to support our Watertown, and Mukwonago locations if needed. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call. Two years' experience as an MA preferred. Summary:
Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist providers planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, along with CPR certification Two years' experience preferred Woman's health, OB-GYN or L&D experience preferred Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations. Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills Above average skills in patient education and counseling The providers at Moreland OB-GYN are dedicated to providing women with compassionate OB-GYN care throughout life.
