Job Description

Medical Assistant / Receptionist - Part-Time/PRN 10-30 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required Jefferson Urgent Care is seeking a dependable, flexible Medical Assistant/Receptionist to assist with both clinical and front-office duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Patient check-in/check-out and registration Answering phones and scheduling Insurance verification and collecting payments Rooming and triaging patients Obtaining vital signs and medical histories Performing point-of-care testing Assisting providers with procedures and patient care Injections, specimen collection, and other MA duties as permitted Cleaning and restocking exam rooms Scanning, documentation, patient portal assistance, and general office duties
Schedule & Availability Requirements:
Approximately 10-30 hours per week , based on staffing needs and availability.
Weekdays:
8:00 AM-6:00
PM Weekends:
8:00 AM-1:00 PM Every other weekend availability is required Employees must be available to work the entire scheduled shift . Partial-shift availability is not accepted. Additional coverage may occasionally be needed for holidays, vacations, call-outs, or other staffing needs. Candidates must be dependable, professional, able to multitask, comfortable working in both the clinical and reception areas , and willing to assist wherever needed to keep the office running efficiently. Medical assistant experience and/or certification preferred.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
