Job Description

Job Summary With a patient-centered culture, the Clinical Assistant will provide a positive experience to the communities we serve through direct and indirect total nursing care of the patient.
Responsibilities Customer Focus:
Identifies customer needs and expectations and responds to them in a timely and effective manner.
Job Skills:
Possess sufficient job skills and knowledge to perform the job in a competent manner and be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge in day-to-day situations.
Planning:
Develops the steps necessary to accomplish goals and establishes realistic plans to reach them. These steps include allocating required resources, planning for contingencies and setting milestones to measure progress.
Safety:
Understands every safety practice expected by Mon Health. Engages in practices that decrease the risk of accidents, injuries or equipment failures. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures acquired through on-the-job training. Computer literacy and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
Heavy Work:
Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly. Education High School Diploma or GED (Required) Credentials Basic Life Support Must possess current BLS certification within probationary period, which is renewed every two years.
