Job Description

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Histology/Cytology Assistant to assist the technologist in all work areas in order to assure that patient care is facilitated. Under the supervision, the candidate performs preparatory work on histology/cytology specimens to include accessioning, registering, ordering, specimen/slide preparation, and various histology/cytology filing.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE
Laboratory experience preferred
SKILLS:
Secretarial/clerical skills, medical background, typing.
