Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Collect specimens such as blood samples through phlebotomy and prepare them for laboratory testing. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient information, medical history, medication lists, and treatment plans with precision. Support medical administrative tasks including patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining medical records. Assist with medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation of all procedures performed. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Support patient education on medication usage, post-treatment care, and health management strategies. Experience Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management would be helpful. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, ICD coding for diagnoses, and pharmacology basics. Experience performing phlebotomy and basic life support (BLS) certification is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical documentation standards and medical records management practices. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient service while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.
