With 6 locations along the front range and over 40 years of A+ ratings from the BBB, Colorado Springs Radiologists, PC/PENRAD Imaging LLC has a long tradition of delivering state-of-the-art imaging to our community. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, career-oriented applicants to join our team. Colorado Springs Radiologists, PC/PENRAD Imaging, LLC currently has a full time Coder I position available (40 hours per week, Monday - Friday). If you are committed to providing exceptional coding services with compassion and kindness, we are looking for you. As a PENRAD Imaging Coder I, you will utilize your expertise to: Code and bill professional, technical, and global charges received from the hospital, PENRAD, or other Outside Services to include CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, insurance, authorizations, admission dates, or any other necessary information. Review coding-related denials and make edits as appropriate. Follow up on CSR and PENRAD addendum requests. Update patient demographic information when a discrepancy in the account exists. Pull reports to support coding.
Qualified applicants will require:
High School Diploma or GED. One to three years in the insurance billing industry. Medical coding certification, CPC or RCC preferred. Lower level of certification with coding experience may be considered.
