Mercy Fort Smith has recently completed a $162 million expansion , creating one of the most advanced emergency care environments in the region: Emergency Department expanded from 29 to 50 treatment rooms ICU expanded from 38 to 64 beds Capacity to support approximately 25,000 additional patient visits annually 74,000 annual ED visits Level III Trauma Center About the Role The Director of Emergency Services provides strategic and operational leadership for a fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care while advancing organizational goals, regulatory compliance, trauma standards, and emergency medicine best practices. Working closely with physicians, EMS partners, trauma leadership, and interdisciplinary teams, you'll lead a highly engaged team focused on improving outcomes, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting the growing healthcare needs of our community.
