Oklahoma Shift Hours:
8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (If you reside in Oklahoma, please apply for this requisition) Summary This job consists of driving in a local transportation system serving poultry plants. Daily duties include shuttling loads and equipment between points in Fort Smith and/or Muldrow. Communicate with dispatch to provide efficient services to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for timely delivery of trailers as directed by dispatch. The ability to work under the direction of a move planner and drop and hook frequently. Rotate equipment to service providers for maintenance. Provide services to our customers (plants) with the attitude of service in mind. Maintain complete and accurate records of trailer movements. Must comply with all DOT and State driver training and documentation requirements. Other duties as required by dispatch or management. Education and/or Experience Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate hours of service, complete log book pages and calculate and report hours worked. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have a Class-A CDL Drivers License. Must have 12 months of verifiable experience. Must have no major driving violations and be able to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug test.
