Job Description
We are proud to be representing a thriving, privately owned multi-doctor hospital that is seeking a Medical Director to lead their established team in Chino, CA. This 9-DVM practice is a well-respected, state-of-the-art facility that recently completed a full remodel, featuring expanded exam rooms and upgraded technology! The role of Medical Director here is hands-on: you'll be actively involved in clinical work while also setting the tone for patient care, mentoring doctors at varying experience levels, and fostering a collaborative culture. You'll lead from the front, supporting recent graduates through structured mentorship programs while also helping experienced veterinarians advance. The hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, anesthesia monitoring, and a modern surgical suite. A strong support structure is in place, with 1-2 dedicated room nurses assigned to each doctor, ensuring you can focus on both medicine and leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate (3-5 years+) looking to step into leadership, or for an existing Medical Director who wants to explore a new challenge in a progressive, privately owned setting. You can enjoy a flexible work schedule of just 4 days per week with flexibility on the days required.
