Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols, utilizing your physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology expertise to enhance patient outcomes. Manage clinical staff including supervising psychiatrists, clinicians, and support personnel to promote professional growth and maintain high standards of patient care. Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing medical records, utilizing EMR/EHR systems effectively, and ensuring adherence to healthcare management practices. Collaborate with hospital administration on project management efforts related to clinical development, research activities, and healthcare compliance programs. Ensure proper documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Drive utilization management strategies by coordinating with managed care organizations to optimize patient treatment plans within budgetary constraints. Support teaching and academic leadership efforts by mentoring residents, supervising clinical research projects, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Experience Extensive post-residency experience in psychiatry with a proven track record in medical leadership roles such as Medical Director or equivalent. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams within hospital or outpatient settings. Strong background in clinical research, including familiarity with FDA regulations and medical development processes. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, medical records management, and healthcare technology tools essential for efficient practice management. Knowledge of healthcare laws including HIPAA, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations, and compliance standards such as NCQA. Experience in hospital environments or integrated healthcare systems with a focus on patient care excellence and quality improvement initiatives.
