Move From Operational Leadership to System Influence Nealy Pierce is conducting a confidential search for a Director of Medical Staff Services with a prominent nonprofit 700+ bed health system in the coastal Southeast. For a Jacksonville-area leader, this is a manageable regional move that provides substantially greater scope: approximately 700 medical staff members, two hospital campuses and direct interaction with executive and physician leadership. A Seat at the Table The Director will report to the Vice President of Medical Affairs and serve as a key partner to: Medical Executive Committee leadership Hospital executives Medical staff officers and department chairs Legal counsel Credentialing and Medical Staff Services teams The position will oversee governance, credentialing, privileging, bylaws, physician relations and medical staff reporting. The Director will also lead a team of five and help complete a major bylaws revision currently underway.
