Job Description

We are working on behalf of an established, full-service small animal practice in Longwood, FL that is looking to welcome an experienced Medical Director to lead its collaborative team of six veterinarians. Backed by one of the industry's leading veterinary support organizations while retaining its own distinct hospital culture, this is a well-resourced practice with a loyal client base and a genuine commitment to Fear Free medicine. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll continue to see patients and practice clinical medicine while also providing medical leadership and strategic direction for the hospital. Working closely with the Practice Manager and Operations Advisor, you'll help shape scheduling, budgeting, and annual planning, while mentoring associate veterinarians and supporting their professional growth. The hospital has built a strong culture around teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning, and is looking for someone who wants to influence hospital growth and medical standards as much as they want to practice great medicine. A guaranteed production bonus is in place for the first year to allow the right candidate time to ramp up, alongside ProSal compensation with no negative accrual, monthly production payouts, and a Medical Director stipend.
Key Highlights:
Lead a collaborative team of 6 veterinarians in an established, full-service practice. ProSal compensation with No Negative Accrual. Guaranteed production bonus in year one to support your ramp-up. Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with a fully paid dental premium option available. Company-paid life insurance ($25,000) plus optional supplemental coverage.
