Job Description
Korzen Health is seeking a Medical Director (MD/DO) to lead established Wound Care Center programs in Plant City, FL and Winter Haven, FL , in partnership with Healogics . This is a highly procedural, outpatient leadership role designed for physicians who want to combine hands-on patient care with program oversight —all while maintaining an excellent work-life balance with a 3-4 day workweek . Why This Role Stands Out Flexible 3-4 day workweek Medical Director leadership role 100% outpatient wound care Procedure-driven practice No nights, no call, no weekends, no holidays Patients seen by appointment only - no walk-ins Established clinics with strong patient volume Split time between two nearby locations What You'll Do Perform high-volume wound care procedures (debridement, I&Ds, biopsies, etc.) Lead clinical operations and ensure quality of care across both centers Treat chronic and complex wounds, primarily in a geriatric population Utilize advanced therapies, including: Debridement Infection management Compression therapy Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) Collaborate with and guide a multidisciplinary clinical team Built-In Support Case Manager Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses Office Manager Full front & back office staff Training & Growth Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine training provided Leadership development and program growth opportunities Join a national leader in wound care with proven systems and support ✅ What You Bring MD or DO Board Certified / Board Eligible Active Florida Medical License & DEA Strong procedural background required (suturing, I&Ds, biopsies, debridement, or similar) Interest or experience in leadership/Medical Director responsibilities Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (prorated for 3-4 days/week) + Medical Director stipend + bonuses Full benefits package (eligible based on schedule) 401(k) with retirement plan Generous PTO If you're a physician who enjoys procedures and is ready to step into a leadership role—without sacrificing work-life balance—this is a unique opportunity to lead and grow two successful wound care programs.
