Job Description

This is a unique opportunity! We are seeking to hire an experienced Medical Records to join our team. Our mission is to foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration, and continue to grow our reputation for being the preferred source for skilled nursing/long term care within the communities we serve.
Medical Records Expectations:
Filing and Organization. Medical records clerks meticulously file and organize both physical and electronic patient records, ensuring they are readily accessible for healthcare providers. Data Entry and Maintenance. They input and update patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Confidentiality and Security. Medical records clerks are entrusted with maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive patient information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Record Retrieval. They are responsible for retrieving and releasing medical records as needed, including to patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers. Record Management. They may also be involved in archiving, culling, and destroying records according to established procedures. Assist with Audits and Investigations. Medical records clerks may provide documentation and assistance for audits and investigations as needed.
