Sinai Pulmonology Associates is an established practice of 3 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners serving a growing patient population. As Medical Director of Pulmonary, you'll combine inpatient consults, outpatient care, and bronchoscopy with leadership of the pulmonary program, shaping how it grows and how patients across the region access lung care. • Own the direction of the pulmonary program by setting strategic plans, quality metrics, and performance improvement goals that expand access and improve outcomes
• Build new outpatient services, including lung nodule, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep medicine programs
• Keep inpatient pulmonary care running smoothly by providing consults and partnering with ICU leadership on multidisciplinary critical care delivery
• Extend your procedural reach with bronchoscopy, plus EBUS and thoracentesis if desired
• Drive accountability for care quality by creating protocols and pathways that reduce unnecessary variation and promote appropriate use of testing and procedures
• Grow the team and referral network by recruiting physicians and APPs and strengthening relationships with primary care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, cardiology, oncology, and thoracic surgery Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a Pulmonary or Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship
• Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Disease
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine preferred
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Active DEA and Maryland CDS registrations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead within a multidisciplinary team

• Base salary starting at $360,000, commensurate with experience, plus RVU-based performance incentives and leadership compensation
