$364000.00 - $415000.00 A well-established, integrated healthcare system is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to serve as Chief of Hospital Medicine . This is a mix of clinical practice and administrative leadership , with the opportunity to help shape and grow the Hospital Medicine program across multiple hospital settings. The Opportunity Provide clinical and administrative leadership across a regional referral hospital and two critical access hospitals. Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop hospitalists and APPs. Lead quality improvement, patient safety, physician engagement, and program development initiatives. Partner with hospital and system leadership on staffing, coverage, and operational strategy. Maintain an active clinical practice. Qualifications MD or DO Board certified in Internal Medicine Strong inpatient clinical experience Proven Hospital Medicine or physician leadership experience Multi-site, community/rural hospital, quality improvement, or operational leadership experience preferred About the Community Beautiful Maine offers four-season recreation, picturesque lakes and mountains, and an affordable cost of living, with easy access to Portland and Boston.
