Description Associate Medical Director (AMD) - Anesthesiology - MaineHealth Stephens Hospital (Norway, ME) MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist, to join our dedicated team in beautiful Norway, Maine as the Associate Medical Director (AMD) . This is an exciting opportunity to lead a community practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining strong work-life balance.
FTE:
.9 FTE Clinical/.1 FTE Administration Position Highlights Medical direction model : Collaborate with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service, plus call responsibilities. Diverse surgical specialties : OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry. 24/7 OB service . Collegial environment with experienced providers and outstanding support staff. Access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR . Strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system.
Anticipated schedule:
Regular rotations with 2 other Anesthesiologist working 1 out of every 3 weeks . Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment). Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
