Job Description
Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) CRNA Manager to join its highly collaborative anesthesia team in the vibrant coastal city of Portland, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CRNA to step into a leadership role in a high-performing, team-oriented environment. CRNAs at Mercy provide anesthesia care for both adult and pediatric patients across a variety of surgical specialties, including obstetrics, in bright, state-of-the-art operating rooms and a newly constructed outpatient specialty and surgery center. The CRNA Manager will provide day-to-day leadership for the CRNA team, including oversight of staffing and scheduling, performance evaluations, payroll and PTO approval, CME tracking, quality initiatives, and clinical process improvements. Additional responsibilities include policy review, budget management, and serving as a key advocate for the anesthesia department in partnership with senior hospital leadership. This role offers the opportunity to help shape departmental strategy, influence policy discussions, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture while maintaining an active clinical presence.
