A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with a Family Medicine background to join its executive leadership team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, just about an hour from Santa Fe.

Responsibilities include overseeing ongoing clinic expansion, acquisitions, quality improvement initiatives, provider productivity, and operational workflows. The role also includes direct oversight of 1 Physician, 6 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, 6 Behavioral Health Providers, and 3 Pharmacists , while partnering closely with executive leadership and multidisciplinary clinical teams. Call Ratio is 1:4, with nurse triage handling initial calls. ? ? Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Experienced primary care physician with leadership experience or interest in serving as Chief Medical Officer Eligible for a New Mexico Medical License Strong leadership, operational, and relationship-building skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, supporting provider productivity, driving workflow improvements, and contributing to strategic organizational growth.
