Job Description

Seeking a licensed physician to serve as Regional Medical Director in Queens, NY. This role splits time between hands-on clinical care and regional clinical leadership, overseeing medical quality, staff development, and operational integration across Treatment Center sites in the NYC area.
Compensation:
$275,000-$315,000 base plus bonuses and full benefits. Key responsibilities Provide patient care as needed to support clinical operations. Visit sites 3-4 days per week to mentor, train, and develop clinical staff. Oversee medical operations and ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and standards. Collaborate with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care, workflows, and clinic operations. Design and implement training programs to enhance clinical skills and care quality. Monitor, evaluate, and enforce clinical quality assurance and performance metrics. Implement utilization management and value-based care strategies. Support growth and integration of primary care practices and clinical programs; partner on provider recruitment, onboarding, practice development, and clinical expansion. Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty. Active New York medical license; DEA registration; Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment (or ability to obtain). Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with responsibility for multiple providers or clinical sites. Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. Commitment to clinical quality improvement and staff development. Preferred Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and implementing value-based care or utilization management initiatives.
