  • Small Animal Practice | Upper East Side, New York City Global Talent Partners is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a Medical Director position with a well-established small animal hospital on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to remain clinically engaged while helping lead a highly experienced team and influence the continued development of the hospital. The Opportunity You'll join a dedicated, well-organized team providing high-quality small animal medicine for dogs and cats. The hospital has a strong support structure, with veterinarians typically working alongside two dedicated assistants during appointments, plus additional team members available throughout the day. Several team members have been with the hospital for 8+ years, providing an experienced and stable working environment. As Medical Director, you'll have the opportunity to: Remain actively involved in clinical medicine Provide leadership and mentorship to the veterinary team Help establish and maintain high clinical standards Support the continued development of the hospital and its team Encourage collaboration, education and professional development Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues Help shape the medical direction of the practice Modern Facilities & Technology The hospital is equipped to support a broad range of primary care and medical cases, including: Digital radiography Digital dental radiography Ultrasound In-house laboratory Hands-free radiology techniques Comprehensive small animal diagnostic capabilities Radiographs and laboratory work are submitted for specialist interpretation, with quick turnaround times, allowing the team to make informed clinical decisions efficiently. The hospital has also been practicing hands-free radiology since 2019, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to patient and team safety.
