Addiction Psychiatrist Opportunity Location:

Monroeville, PA We are seeking an experienced Addiction Psychiatrist to serve as a Part-Time Medical Director for a comprehensive behavioral health and substance use treatment program in Monroeville, Pennsylvania . This is a one-day-per-week, on-site opportunity combining direct patient care with clinical leadership and supervision of Nurse Practitioners. The program provides a continuum of substance use treatment services, including detoxification, residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services . The facility has a capacity of approximately 104 beds and is currently operating at approximately half capacity. Responsibilities Provide on-site psychiatric care one day per week Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders Provide clinical leadership and serve in a Medical Director capacity Supervise and provide clinical oversight to Nurse Practitioners Review and oversee patient treatment plans as appropriate Manage psychiatric medications and monitor patient response to treatment Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Practitioners, nurses, therapists, counselors, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team Support continuity of care across detoxification, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of treatment Participate in clinical, quality, and compliance initiatives Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Help ensure care is delivered in accordance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards Position Highlights Part-time - one day per week On-site Medical Director opportunity Combination of direct patient care and clinical leadership Oversight and supervision of Nurse Practitioners 104-bed capacity Detoxification and residential treatment PHP and IOP services Comprehensive substance use and behavioral health program Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Fellowship training and/or demonstrated experience in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine preferred Eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners or other advanced practice providers preferred Medical Director or physician leadership experience preferred Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
