Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University School of Medicine is seeking board eligible/certified radiologists with expertise and interest in emergency/trauma imaging for a full-time faculty appointment. Academic rank at Yale School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The Emergency/Trauma section consists of 17 faculty members whose practice includes level one trauma and stroke centers, additional ER sites and urgent care centers, and partial coverage of the VA West Haven Medical Center Emergency Room (via tele-radiology). This program was the first in the nation to provide contemporaneous 24 X 7 imaging interpretation for our Emergency/Trauma patients. Our group has a track record of collaborative research, flexibility in scheduling shifts, and a commitment to the best clinical care. The primary site of coverage at YNHH is centrally located in New Haven, with access to a vibrant and passionate University. Multiple shifts are work-from-home allowing for a hybrid schedule.
