Job Description
Director provides medical oversight and clinical consultation for Happy Hearts Adult Medical Day Care.
I kept the duties intentionally narrow so the description reflects the one-day-per-month chart-review/clinical oversight role you described.
Schedule:
One day per month, approximately 4-6 hours or 6-8 hours, as needed. Primary Responsibilities- Meet monthly with the Clinical Director to review participant charts and medical documentation.
- Provide clinical guidance regarding participant medical needs and plans of care.
- Review medications, diagnoses, physician orders, and other relevant clinical information as appropriate.
- Provide consultation to the Clinical Director regarding changes in participants' medical conditions.
- Assist in supporting quality of care and compliance with applicable clinical policies and regulatory requirements.
- Be reasonably available for occasional consultation between scheduled visits when necessary.
Qualifications:
Licensed physician in good standing with the State of Maryland and qualified to provide medical oversight within an Adult Medical Day Care setting.
