Urgent Care Opportunity in West Texas You'll step into a 100% urgent care role with built-in leadership as the Medical Director overseeing 2 freestanding clinics. This is an Urgent Care physician position with a predictable 7 on / 7 off schedule and no call. If you enjoy a mix of clinical care and APP oversight, this role is worth a closer look. Practice Overview Team support includes NPs, PAs, MAs, LPNs, and Rad Techs; on-site x-ray available Typical urgent care procedures and presentations: URI/flu/COVID/RSV/strep, worker's comp, physicals, sprains/fractures, laceration repair, I&D, suturing Patient mix approx. 40% pediatrics / 40% adults / 20% geriatrics Schedule 7 on / 7 off Approximately 40-hour work week with built-in administrative responsibilities No call responsibility Clinic hours at both urgent care sites: 9am-9pm Mon-Fri; 10am-6pm Sat-Sun Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $300,000 + RVU production incentive Quality bonus: $20,000; Medical Director stipend: up to $36,000 annually $20,000 sign-on bonus; relocation assistance up to $10,000 Benefits include health/dental/vision; Simple IRA after 1 year (3% match); licensure/DEA/associations reimbursed; no PTO Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Minimum 2 years of urgent care or relevant clinical experience strongly preferred Comfort supervising APPs and providing clinical oversight; strong communication and team leadership skills Previous leadership/Medical Director experience preferred Community & Location Highlights West Texas metroplex combined population approximately 241,000 International airport in nearby with direct flights to Austin, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver Cost of living approximately 8% lower than the national average (housing 15% lower, utilities 2% lower, groceries 7% lower) Reach out today to learn more about this opportunity and how it aligns with your career goals.
