Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Dental Operations Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of a growing multi-location pediatric dental organization. This is not simply an office-management position. The Operations Manager will work directly with ownership to develop systems, establish accountability, improve financial and operational performance, support practice managers and team members, and create consistency across locations. The ideal candidate is someone who sees problems before they become emergencies, creates systems rather than temporary fixes, understands dental practice economics, communicates exceptionally well, and is comfortable holding team members accountable. Core Responsibilities Practice Operations Oversee daily nonclinical operations across multiple locations. Establish consistent operating standards and SOPs. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions. Monitor schedules, capacity and provider utilization. Coordinate staffing and coverage across practices. Ensure front-office and administrative processes are consistently followed. Financial Performance Monitor production, adjusted production and collections. Monitor A/R and insurance aging. Review scheduling efficiency and provider productivity. Monitor payroll and staffing relative to practice performance. Identify financial leakage, missed collections and inefficient processes. Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for ownership. People & Leadership Directly supervise and develop office/practice managers. Establish clear accountability and performance expectations. Coordinate recruiting, interviewing and onboarding. Manage employee performance issues with appropriate documentation. Conduct regular leadership meetings. Help build a professional, accountable and positive organizational culture.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
