Company parties Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement Private dental office in Claremont looking for an experienced, hands-on Dental Office Manager with strong billing and treatment coordination experience. Billing is a big part of this position. We need someone who understands dental insurance, out-of-network billing, treatment presentations and collections and can stay on top of the financial side of the practice daily. We are primarily out-of-network with the exception of Delta Dental. One GP with hygiene, no HMO and no Denti-Cal.
Responsibilities include:
Daily dental billing - all billing must be completed by end of day and cannot be carried over Out-of-network billing and understanding how to calculate accurate patient fees Treatment planning, financial presentations and collecting appropriate deposits upfront Following up on outstanding claims and keeping aging to a minimum Monitoring daily production and collections Reviewing billing reports, aging reports and accounts Running and overseeing the front desk and daily office operations Processing payroll every two weeks Monitoring employee hours, schedules and overtime Managing and supporting both front and back office staff Reviewing day sheets and making sure production and collections are accurate Assisting with month-end reports and reconciliation Inventory and general office operations Morning huddles and team meetings Daily and weekly meetings with the doctor to review numbers, collections, production, aging, staffing and office goals Training and holding team members accountable while maintaining a positive work environment We are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats. This is not strictly a staff management position. You will be involved with billing, treatment coordination, collections, payroll, reports, front desk operations and managing the team. Strong dental billing and treatment coordination experience is required. Out-of-network experience is highly preferred. Must be comfortable calculating patient portions accurately, presenting treatment and discussing financial arrangements
