Overview Fontana Periodontics & Implantology is a new specialty practice dedicated to providing exceptional periodontal and implant care in a professional, welcoming environment. We are looking for an experienced Business Coordinator who is excited about joining a startup practice and helping build strong systems from the beginning. This is an important front-office position responsible for the patient experience, insurance, treatment coordination and financial arrangements. Responsibilities Patient scheduling, confirmations and follow-up Dental insurance verification and benefit breakdowns Insurance billing, claims submission and follow-up Treatment plan presentation and case acceptance Discussing fees, patient portions and financial arrangements Collecting payments and managing outstanding balances Reviewing EOBs and following up on unpaid claims Maintaining accurate patient records Communicating with referring dental offices Following up on unscheduled treatment Helping establish efficient front-office systems as the practice grows Qualifications 2-4 years of dental front-office experience required Strong dental insurance and billing knowledge Experience presenting treatment and discussing financial arrangements Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with dental practice-management software Excellent communication and customer-service skills Organized, dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently in a growing startup practice Periodontal, oral surgery or specialty experience is a plus Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
