We are a busy Multi-Specialty Clinic located in the heart of the mixed neighborhood at 43rd Crenshaw. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our diverse community. We are currently seeking an experienced, mature, and highly organized Native Spanish-Speaking Highly Experienced Front Office Staff to help our administrative team.
The Role:
This is not just a receptionist role; we are looking for a leader but not necessarily a manager. The ideal candidate will be one of the backbones of our front office, ensuring smooth patient flow, managing staff, and handling complex insurance and billing procedures with ease. You must be a natural leader, possess leadership skills, fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively communicate with our patient base and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of a high-volume front office of our medical office.
Leadership:
support, train, and motivate front office staff, fostering a "team player" environment.
Patient Relations:
Handle patient concerns and complaints with maturity, empathy, and professionalism.
Communication:
Operate a multi-line switchboard and maintain excellent communication across all departments.
Insurance & Billing:
Verify Medicare eligibility, handle HMO authorizations, and manage Personal Injury (PI) procedures and billing.
Technology:
Maintain accurate patient records using Practice Fusion EMR.
Qualifications & Skills:
Native Fluency in Spanish and English (Required).
Experience:
Previous experience as a Clinic Manager or Lead Front Office staff in a medical setting.
Insurance Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with Medicare, HMOs, and Personal Injury (PI) protocols.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with Practice Fusion EMR is a must.
Soft Skills:
Must be mature, possess a leadership attitude, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Multitasking:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment.
