As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, be able to problem solve efficiently, work independently, and show initiative towards tasks. We strive to provide a family friendly atmosphere and work with a group of experienced therapists who love working with children. Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and emails
  • Manage therapist schedules including making new appointments, and changing appointments
  • Confirm appointment and send out new family intake form
  • Submitting billing, tracking and charging copays
  • Creating reports from EMR software (MS Excel spread sheets and MS Word)
  • Maintain office equipment
  • Requesting and sending records to various doctors' offices. . Creating social media posts . Prepping office space with seasonal decor . Creating files, collecting intake forms from families and making copies of therapy material. Requirements
  • Previous work in a medical office
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and principles
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Communication skills and a customer service orientation
  • Savvy with computer programs (Google Drive, Excel, EMR)
  • Medical billing preferred but not required
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (boxes of files, office equipment, deliveries)
  • No felonies
  • Reliable transportation
  • Good written and oral communication
