This onsite position schedule is Monday - Friday, 9a-5p

General Office Reports to:
Administrator Overview:
The Office Manager is a qualified person appointed by the administrator, CEO, and the Board of Directors to direct and coordinate the activities of the office. This person functions under the direction of the administrator.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older with two (2) years experience in a management and/or supervisory capacity. Have good organizational and management skills. Home care Experience a plus
Responsibilities:
Oversees the following departments: Medical Records Data Entry Reception Directs the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure achievement of the objectives of the office. Coordinates and integrates the functional phase of the office activities through regular conferences with the personnel responsible for the various functional areas. Interprets and transmits policy of the agency to office staff to ensure compliance with policies. Assures office staff compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Maintains necessary communication and documentation. Responsible for overseeing office personnel and ensuring that they perform their responsibilities while ensuring quality. Responsible for ordering necessary office supplies and equipment. Maintains personal compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Performs other duties as mutually agreed. Be a team leader. Meet with their staff daily, identify goals, and help them achieve those goals. Identify areas requiring retraining - including cross-training - and either perform or arrange for that retraining. Be the backup for every person they supervise. Work closely with the Asst Administrator and SCS. Track time off and ensure coverage is in place.
Functional Abilities:
Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication. Computer and data entry skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to verbalize so that the average person can comprehend. Must be able to handle stress well and remain calm under pressure. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have self-discipline and good organizational skills. Carries out a wide variety of tasks with frequent interaction with many people.
Working Environment:
General office with frequent telephone/computer activity.
