We're looking for a dynamic, organized, and people-focused Practice Manager to help lead and grow our veterinary team in Woodstock, CT This is more than a management role — it's an opportunity to shape culture, elevate client experiences, and support exceptional patient care every single day. What You'll Do
- Working collaboratively with the Medical Director, develop a 40hour/wk schedule to work during the hours of Mon-Fri, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Understand the concept and practice of Team Work and implement strategies to grow and develop the Team
- Partner with our leadership team to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently across all departments.
- Inspire, schedule, coach, and develop team members to help them thrive.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and veterinary regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and inventory management with a keen eye for detail.
- Champion an outstanding client experience and foster a welcoming, compassionate environment.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to implement new ideas and process improvements.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent to support our continued growth.
- Proactively resolve client concerns and operational challenges with professionalism and care.
- Travel between locations as needed (reliable transportation required). What You Bring
- Leadership experience in a veterinary clinic, healthcare, or customer service setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- A solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of veterinary workflows and medical terminology is a plus.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends when needed.
- Experience with Covetrus Pulse Software
- An associates degree or higher in Mangement What We Offer
