Description:
As manager of the Medical Staff Services, this position provides coordination of the many aspects of the department and its functions to screen and regains new members, reappoints medical staff and establishes privileges. The position provides administrative support to the Chief of Staff and other Medical Staff Officers. This position also collaborates with the Department of Performance Improvement to ensure proper coordination of the peer review process. The manager is responsible for the integrity of medical staff files and ensures that the operations of the office is in compliance of and all regulatory and/or governing standards. Estimated salary range for this position is $67811.64 - $88155.13 / year depending on experience.

Bachelors.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Health Administration. Must understand TJC standards and other regulatory bodies as they relate to medical staff services. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work and communicate with physicians and high level leadership, to respond to urgent situations, to work independently and with self motivation, to work well with others, to prioritize, organize, and to manage staff, budgets, and events. Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Provider Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) within two years of hire.
