Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. As the driving force behind efficient clinic management, you will ensure smooth workflows, compliance with healthcare regulations, and a welcoming environment for both staff and patients. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of dental office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and records management Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team Manage financial activities such as budgeting, payroll, medical billing, and expense tracking to ensure fiscal health of the practice Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state-specific health policies Utilize dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to streamline patient management and recordkeeping Coordinate with healthcare providers on patient care plans, medical records updates, and treatment documentation Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing patient inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently Skills Proven experience in medical office management or dental office administration with strong supervisory capabilities Extensive knowledge of healthcare management systems including EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes Familiarity with dental clinic operations and healthcare regulation policies such as HIPAA compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, communication, and reporting purposes Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare practice standards Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment Experience managing healthcare staff across various roles including nursing or veterinary backgrounds is a plus Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms and maintain high levels of accuracy in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems Join us as a Dental Office Manager where your leadership will directly impact patient experiences and operational excellence.
