Job Overview We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Reception/Manager to lead our front desk operations and oversee the daily management of our dental practice. This vital role combines exceptional customer service with comprehensive administrative oversight, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong healthcare management skills, experience with EMR/EHR systems, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes using patient management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Oversee billing, coding, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on office procedures, customer service standards, and team collaboration Manage practice finances including budgeting, financial management, and medical billing processes Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, JCAHO standards, and health regulation policies across all office operations Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and support acute care or dental clinic needs Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), handle medical administrative support tasks, and ensure data security Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with a strong understanding of healthcare practice operations Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a healthcare or dental setting Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial oversight, and medical billing expertise Excellent managerial communication skills paired with outstanding customer service abilities Prior experience in healthcare staff management, managed care processes, and clinic operations is highly desirable Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and attention to detail; acute care or critical care experience is a plus Join us to lead our dental practice into a future of exceptional patient care and operational excellence!
